About us

Through their decade-long interdisciplinary collaboration, as artists and a researchers, Åsa Ståhl and Kristina Lindström have explored how hands-on making can facilitate collaborative co-articulations of emergent issues of living with mundane technologies. This is also the topic of their collaborative and practice-based thesis across the disciplines of interaction designer and media and communication studies: Patchworking Publics-in-the-Making: Design, Media and Public Engagement

They have exhibited and presented their work internationally in contexts spanning hacking, e-waste, cultural heritage, participatory design, feminist technoscience and media archaeology.
